Shani Nahum is a designer who explores and pushes the boundaries of how color materializes across different disciplines, aiming to influence our contemporary surroundings. She holds a BA in Industrial Design from Shenkar College (Tel Aviv) and an MA in Textile Design from Burg Giebichenstein University (Halle). Her work conveys complex experiences of belonging, identity, and environmental narratives through the interplay of material and color, using them as a language that evokes emotion and action.

Since March 2025, she has been working as a teaching assistant in Design and Artistic Foundations – 2D Color at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle. This role builds upon her research project, ׳The Great Green׳, initiated in the Textile Design Department, which explores the relationship between scent, color, and memory.
